Dr. Falbo is known nationally for his work developing reading specialist tutor programs, vision therapy and concussion treatments. His programs are devoted to multi-sensory teaching strategies as advocated in the Orthon Gillingham and Lindamood Bell programs. Dr. Falbo was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Pittsburgh for undergraduate studies, then received his doctor of optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia. He is a sought after speaker to groups in the tri-state area. Dr. Falbo has been featured on KDKA-TV News, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Observer Reporter, KDKA Radio and KQV Radio. Dr. Falbo founded the Pittsburgh Vision Center and Red Apple Learning Center both in McMurray, Pennsylvania. He is a two time past president of the Peters Twp. Chamber of Commerce and has been an active coach in youth sports in McMurray for over 19 years.
